Plans for the “Gathering In” local market event at Hallhill on Sunday 31 October are taking shape. The event will run from 11am- 16.00pm. Entry is free. There will be:
- A local produce market marquee for traders. Local traders and individuals are invited to book a stall, or share one, to sell their produce or wares. It’s £20 for a table or if you want to share you can take some space on a Sustaining Dunbar table for a small donation. For further details or to book a table contact Sue on 836920.
- Groups and clubs stalls in the main hall. This is an opportunity to promote your club or group’s activities and membership at this event. To book a free table contact Sheila on 863720.
- Demonstrations, workshops and talks on a range of activities throughout the day e.g. story- telling, writers group, yoga, dance, bee keeping and local history etc. Interested in doing a talk or demonstration? Please contact Sheila or Sue to book a spot in one of the meeting rooms.
Also EastCoast radio Fm will be broadcasting live at the event. So please put the date in your diary and come along to the event.
There will also be a further planning meeting for anyone interested in getting involved in this event on Monday evening, 6 September at 7.30pm in the Gibb room of Dunbar library.
