BeGreen is your local drop-in Energy Advice Shop, conveniently located in West Port (next to the Pet Shop), just off Dunbar High Street. Whether you are looking to insulate your house, seeking advice on lowering your energy bills or thinking about generating your own renewable energy, why not drop by?
We can offer:
- advice and information on how to make your home more energy efficient and cut your fuel bills – if you live in the Dunbar and East Linton ward then you are eligible for a free home energy audit from one of our expert energy advisors: Sean and Mark.
- information about alternative renewable technologies which are suitable for residential dwellings such as heat pumps, solar thermal panels, solar electricity panels, wind, hydro and bio-mass
- information on grants available to help you cover the costs of making your home more energy efficient and installing new appliances and technologies
- assistance with applying for grants

Shop opening times:
Wednesdays: 9.30am – 12.30 pm
Thursdays: 9.30am – 12.30 pm 2.30pm- 4.30 pm
Fridays: 9.30am – 12.30 pm
Please note : The shop will be closed on Friday 24 February . Also the shop will be open in the mornings only, on Thursday 1 March and Thursday 8 March.
East Linton Library :
Tuesdays: 2.30pm – 4.30pm
